1. Check out dpreview.com. They have reviews of every digital camera, plus sample photos that you can download an zoom in on to check sharpness etc. I wouldnt' get a Mustek. I have one of their scanners and it's fine, but for digital cameras I'd go with one of the major brands--Sony, Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Minolta, etc. etc.
